The tradition of pump production in Hranice na Moravě dates back to 1883. The company became famous especially for the production of wind engines as a source of pump drive and for the supply of watering cans and pumps to the agricultural sector. The founder of the pump production in Hranice na Moravě, Antonín Kunz, was enterprising and in a short time led his company, PRVNÍ MORAVSKÁ TOVÁRNA NA VODOPOVODY A PUMPY, to the leading companies in our country. The company developed a very significant activity in the field of water supply construction in municipalities and towns throughout the territory of the then Austro-Hungarian Empire, as an Imperial and Royal Court Supplier. After the death of the founder Antonín Kunz, the ownership form changed in 1912 and the company became a joint-stock company.
